Annual General Meeting and Awards Celebration News

On October 14, 2021, the Havergal Alums/Old Girls Association’s (HOGA) Annual General Meeting and Awards Celebration were held virtually. HOGA’s outgoing President Julie Crothers ’93 introduced HOGA’s new President Alex Howard ‘02, who started the evening celebrations by introducing the 2021 Dr. Susan Ditchburn Young Alumna Award recipient Charlotte Anderson 2005 and the 2021 Havergal Alums/Old Girls Life Achievement Award recipient Kim Thompson 1983

The two inspiring award recipients shared words of wisdom, life lessons and messages of empowerment to cultivate change in your everyday life.

The event also recognized the long-standing dedication of Class Reps who are a vital extension of the community when collecting class news for HOGA’s Chronicle publication. The evening was commemorated with special key remarks from Havergal’s 13th Principal, Dr. Katrina Samson.

In case you missed the event, a re-cap of the evening can be found on HOGA’s alums’ platform Connections, under the “Resources” section of the platform.
